The difference between "internet" and "Internet"

The Internet, with a capital "I," refers to the network that began its life as the ARPAnet and continues today as, roughly, the confederation of all TCP/IP networks directly or indirectly connected to commercial U.S. backbones. Seen up close, it's actually quite a few different networks-commercial TCP/IP backbones, corporate and U.S. government TCP/IP networks, and TCP/IP networks in other countries-interconnected by high-speed digital circuits. 

A lowercase internet, on the other hand, is simply any network made up of multiple smaller networks using the same internetworking protocols. An internet (little "i") isn't necessarily connected to the Internet (big "I"), nor does it necessarily use TCP/IP as its internetworking protocol. There are isolated corporate internets, for example. 

An intranet is really just a TCP/IP-based "little i" internet, used to emphasize the use of technologies developed and introduced on the Internet on a company's internal corporate network.

recently, my acer aspire 4540's monitor went full black..blank. my dad bought me that laptop when i was  part2 diploma in melaka. Apparently, this problem is common with acer's laptop. My friend's acer also had this kind of issues.The lowyat bro told him that the fuse was shot and need to be replace with a new one. It cost him about rm150. onefifty? wow, i really need money.FAST.. As a student, having a laptop means a lot to us. For doing our work ofcourse. Last week, madam shahniza had given us an assignment regarding ajax, sax, xsl, and xslt. But heres the catch, we must do it in BAHASA. Sounds easy rite, believe me when i said it isn't..it was a royal pain in the ass. The last time i ever did my "karangan" was back when i was in form5. .unfortunately we didn't save any backup and because of the problem, we(me, syafiq, and hasbullah) need to do our assignment all over again but this time, handwritten... Alhamdulillah we managed to get it done, but not before the deadline. i hope madam can forgive us. it is not something we were expecting to happen. And yeah, i need money..hopefully acey gonna be alright by the end of this week.

not so holiday

last 16 september 2012, me and my fellow housemates(including some of my classmates) were working at the MAS(Malaysian Airline System). We were doing a part time job for 1day from 11.00a.m until 11.00p.m (12 hours o.0). the job was tiresome..but...it was worth it.we got rm150 at the end of the day ^0^

netcentric

Assalamualaikum..and good morning/afternoon/evening to everyone who is reading this =) .

so, what is netcentric? honestly i didn't know much either about it before I started in degree. After been studying in this course for about one semester, I should probably know what is it right?. so yeah, its a combination between network and system. so cool and awesome. The subjects are quite tough compared to my previous ones during my diploma in UiTM lendu, Melaka. But why did i chose this course eventhough i didn't really know about it? its because of the job opputurnities. I heard that this kind of people who have expertise in network and system are highly demanded by many companies out there. Therefore, as a student i should work smart rather than hard in order to achieve my goal, insyAllah. Wish Me Luck! amin amin.. THANK YOU

My thoughts on Web Technology

Assalamualaikum. Hi!! I'm Ammar bin Md Nasir from DCS2314A. This is actually my second post in this blog. The first one was actually about my past sad experience with cats, do ignore it. For the second one, I would like to share my thoughts on ITT 544 (web technology) during the first week of class. I was told recently by my lecturer madam Nor Shahniza Kamal Bashah to make this blog, which is kind of challenging for me the fact that this is my first time using a blog EVER. Actually looking forward to it =).  well then, there's not much to tell other the course introduction that madam briefed us and some of the intro lesson that she taught which is still really vague to me in the mean time. As weeks passes by, hopefully i will managed myself to fill my oncoming post with lots and lots of web tech related things. I will try my best to enjoy the lecture too as there is so much yet to learn. Last but not least, i would like to apologize in advance to you(madam) if i happened come in late to class. hehe.
